BLOOM: 31st Annual Auction & Dinner
Supporting a key revenue source for the Law School
The annual PILF Auction has developed over the past couple of years to be a highly productive event that supports students interested in public interest work, as well as the broader law school.
This year's theme, "BLOOM", projected growth, potential, and the blossoming of students in their mission for justice.
Conceptual Development
The process behind the theme development requires the approval of multiple stakeholders, and therefore it required multiple iterations to hit the right note.
The idea was to use a one-word title that was highly decorative to reflect the original concept. I steered conversation to something that would work well across print and digital platforms.

Final Design

"An early spring"
I use the wording above to best describe the final product that was mentioned by a colleague. We opted to aim for a blue coloring to differentiate ourselves from the UW purple, our northern (and more renowned) neighbor.
After the finalization, I contributed to numerous email campaigns promoting ticket sales, the online silent auction, and other highlights. I also worked on creating motion graphics (seen above) for promotion and at the event, including video editing. There was also a large demand for printed material including an event program, cards, signage, and other minor elements.
